We have been having lots of fun this summer. On the fourth of July, we made a visit to Chuck E. Cheese. Madelyn was so well-behaved and loved all the excitement. Chuck E. Cheese has come a long way since I was last there.... Madelyn was very unsure of Chuck E., himself. She actually wanted nothing to do with him! Not quite ready for the characters as Disney World yet! She did love to ride the smaller rides and going down the little slide! Her "fourth of July" shorts actually still fit from last year; however, the shirt was way too small. The angel she is holding is a little decoration.... She loves to look at the angel each day and pretends to fly like an angel around the house!

The pool was quite an experience for me! Let's just say my days of relaxing at the pool are over (and I think I am going to need a "mom" bathing suit-lots of running around!). Lots of activities at the pool, there is even a jungle gym in the shallow water! At first, Madelyn was so nervous in the water. It was the slowest Adam and I have seen her move in a long time! By the end, we had a kicking and screaming child when we left! The have "big-people" slides too, Adam enjoyed trying it out.
